Residential (Milieu) Counselors: Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem- General Information.

Our team of milieu counselors foster healthy relationships by helping center the ‘family’ experience in residential living. They are kind, mindful and emotionally equipped to hold space for our residents to continue to grow and heal. These college graduate front line people help residents process a confusing conversation, encourage them to learn a new skill or take on a new responsibility, work with our farm animals, share their unique gifts (such as knitting, cooking, playing games) or sit quietly with our residents to help them settle into their own place and space. We offer full time, part time and per diem positions to support resident population.

• Educational Background: BA/BS in Psychology or related field preferred. Candidates with an earned two-year degree considered. Must have a minimum of 60 college credits earned.
• Experience: Two years or more of experience working in a therapeutic field preferred. Prior experience working with girls and/or young adult women desirable.
• Salary: $20.60 per hour (base hourly rate), plus shift differentials for weekend and overnight hours. Shift differentials can add $2 to $4/hour to the base rate.
• Full time (30 hrs or more) benefit package includes medical, dental, disability, life insurance, retirement savings with employer match, and generous paid time off.
• Part time (20-29 hrs.) benefit package includes paid time off and retirement savings with employer match.
• This position is eligible for overtime compensation.
• Additional compensation : Holiday differential ($1/hr.) for 7 designated holidays. This differential is applied to: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and October Fall Weekend Monday.
• Additional compensation: Holiday Pay (1.5 times base rate) for 3 designated holidays. The Holiday Pay is applied to: New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Generous Paid Time off package, that increases with years of service for positions with 20 hrs or more.

Wellspring is seeking dedicated and compassionate Per Diem LPNs or RN’s to join our team.

Wellspring and Arch Bridge School aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for young adult women and adolescent girls to overcome mental health and emotional difficulties.

Position Title: Nurse (LPN or RN)
Employment Agreement Type:  Per Diem

Salary and Benefits:

Compensation: $30.00 – $33.00 per hour

Shifts Needed:

Weekday mornings and evenings, and weekend day and evenings.

Functions:

• Promote and maintain a therapeutic environment in a residential setting.
• Asses, manage and prioritize health problems appropriate to client populations served by Wellspring and in accordance with best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and treatment in accordance with Wellspring policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Document and communicate accurately any health issues of residents.
• Manage health problems that arise and appropriately administer care for medical and psychiatric orders.
• Assessing, managing, and prioritizing health problems appropriate by client populations.

Requirements:

• Two years experience in psychiatric nursing or related experience preferred.
• Current license (RN or LPN) in the State of Connecticut.
• All nurses must maintain current CPR Certification and the requirements for licensure, certification and or registration and or related work experience required or needed to fulfill this requirement.

Wellspring is seeking a part-time (20 hour) dedicated and dynamic Vocational Coach to join our team at the Arch Bridge School, located on our adolescent campus.

The Arch Bridge School (ABS) offers core academics and college preparatory courses, allowing students to meet their unique academic objectives while in Residential Treatment or in our Therapeutic Day School.

ABS Vocational Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Network with on campus partners, community organizations, and businesses to provide vocational experiences for students.
• Work with students and families to identify areas of growth and interests to support them in a placement (regular updates, scheduled meetings, site visits, etc.).
• Work with the educational team to identify eligible students, develop schedules, monitor progress, and provide team support to selected students.
• Be willing to develop the materials and initial assessments for students.
• Transport students to and from their experiences as needed.

Requirements

• Teaching Certification
• Experience with emotional disabilities and learning differences and a therapeutic school environment (preferred).
• Eligibility for the DMV’s A Endorsement to drive students to and from activities.
• The ability to work hard individually and as part of a team.
• An interest in developing new skills, or enhancing existing ones, while working with students with challenging educational and behavioral/emotional scenarios.

Pay: $32.00 – $34.00 per hour

Academic Year 2025-2026

The Arch Bridge School at Wellspring has 2 openings for a credentialed and/or certified School Clinician for our state approved, and NEASC accredited special education school. We are seeking to identify and hire for the 2025-2026 academic year.

We are looking for: A School Clinician to support our upper school classrooms.

The Arch Bridge School offers core academics, allowing students to meet their unique academic objectives while in Residential Treatment or as students attending our Therapeutic Day School. The Arch Bridge School has a long history of success in serving children with emotional, psychological and learning vulnerabilities and issues. Emphasis in school is placed on providing a positive learning experience, resolving school-related issues, and preparing the student to return to their home school better able to function successfully.

The therapeutic dimension of the program offers a comprehensive exploration of the student’s individual uniqueness while developing self-reliance, problem solving skills, socialization, and the ability to manage anger and stress. The fundamental approach of the school is to develop a personal relationship with each student and family, within a clearly defined structure of expectations.

Our most successful school staff members have a relational and experiential approach to their work and thrive in a nurturing environment. We offer an opportunity to provide support in small, classroom settings, to be part of a clinical team and to interact with students individually and in group settings. Our small setting allows our school staff the chance to provide relational classrooms where each student is known as an individual. Our staff are truly able to make a difference in their students’ lives.

Required Certification:

· Masters level with either earned LCSW or LMFT

Wellspring is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development  Director to join our team.  As a senior leader reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth, developing new opportunities and cultivating new business relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Work in conjunction with the CEO and other senior leaders to design, build and implement strategy for business development, public relations, growth of access to programs, and meeting operational and financial needs of the Wellspring Programs
• Supervises and/or oversee strategy and/or hired or outsourced functions of Admissions Department, Public Relations, Marketing, Social Media, Web strategy
• Locate and build relationships with referral sources, patient/client/ aggregators, and other internal and external stakeholders for Wellspring Programs
• Develop and implement strategies for public relations to build the organization’s reputation and public awareness.
• Maintain a database of the above accessible by the relevant WS employees.
• Assist with facilitating tours of sites and introductions of stakeholders to WS directors and other key staff.
• Establish a meeting and follow-up schedule for the staff assigned to each contact with reminders of upcoming follow-up dates and results of same.
• Develop and oversee outreach materials to all referral sources.
• Develop and implement a marketing campaign.
• Develop “landing pages” and similar for the different programs, utilizing outside marketing firm as necessary, for ads and search engine optimization.
• Maintain strategy for website. Supervise web content creator/build process as/if applicable
• Interface with, and ultimately supervises the Admissions Director’s outreach and marketing duties
• Monitor census by program, anticipated discharge dates, forecast occupancy and pending admissions by program, reporting such information to the Management Team . Accountable for growth and volume targets and tracks outcomes of efforts,
• Serve as spokesperson at events and conferences when needed, along with or independent of other senior leaders.
• Coordinate with WS staff to arrange visits/calls
• Manage all social media outlets
• Provides regular reports to the CEO, Management Team and the Board of Directors
• Functions on the Management team as a direct report to the CEO

Position will require extensive travel throughout the current marketplace (CT mainly, NY and NJ less so) as well as occasional out of area travel.

• To support the milieu, in a non-institutional, family modeled setting, with the ability to be personally responsive to the residents in your care.
• Contribute to and be a part of a community that helps and models healthy living to prepare the residents to meet the realistic demands of returning to their families and their communities.
• Assist, as a team member to clinical staff, to provide a structured environment with professional supervision of daily activities to counteract the debilitating effects of internal emotional disorders the residents are facing.
• Follow a program structure that is flexibly responsive to the resident’s needs and abilities while they navigate through their daily therapies, responsibilities and recreational activities.

Base hourly rates start at $20.60 per hour, plus shift differentials for weekend, holiday, and overnight hours. Shift differentials can add $2/hr. to $4/hr. to the base rate. Employees working 30+ hours are eligible for health benefits,  20+ hours are eligible for PTO, and all employees are eligible for our retirement plan.
