Michele Flowers, LMFT, LADAC
Clinical Supervisor Arch Bridge Elementary School
Michele joined Wellspring in 2009 and is the Clinical Supervisor of the Arch Bridge Elementary School. She coordinates admissions for the elementary school and maintains the responsibilities of a school clinician-facilitating counseling groups and developing the program(s) to meet the emotional needs of students and their families. She also provides consultative services to local school districts and coordinates discharge planning.
Prior to her current role, Michele was a therapist for Angelus House, our adult residential program. Previously Michele worked in a variety of roles which included; Clinical Coordinator of Rushford’s alternative education Venture Program, and Program Director at a residential unit for young men in recovery. Michele obtained her BS in Family Studies from UCONN, and her MFT from Southern Connecticut State University.
She holds a certification in gestalt therapy and a certification in drug and alcohol counseling. Michele is affiliated with the March of Dimes, the Diabetes Association, and the Leukemia Association. She is a clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and received a Connecticut Association of Private Special Ed Facilities Golden Apple Award in 2011. In her free time, Michele enjoys practicing Reiki and has achieved the title of Reiki Master.
