Mark Johnson, LMFT, Director of Outpatient Services
Mark joined Wellspring in 2007 as Director of Outpatient Services. His responsibilities include managing a staff of 25 which includes 19 therapists and 2 psychiatrists and maintaining a clinical caseload.
Prior to his role at Wellspring, Mark held a variety of positions within the mental health field. These include Program Coordinator for the Northwest Center for Families in New Milford, CT, Clinical Coordinator for Community Mental Health Affiliates in Waterbury, CT and Senior Clinical Therapist for the adolescent behavioral health program at Waterbury Hospital, bringing a combined total of 18 years of experience in the mental health field.
Mark earned his BS in Sociology and his Masters in Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University. He became licensed as a marriage and family therapist in the state of CT in 1999, and is an active member of the AAMFT’S Connecticut Chapter. He enjoys off shore fishing as a licensed Captain, golf, and motorsports.
