Joe Mancinone, LMFT, Program Director – Therapeutic Group Home
Joe joined Wellspring in 1996, and is the Program Director at Pendana, our group home for traumatized girls. In this role Joe oversees operations and facilitates individual, group, and family therapies.
Joe has held a variety of roles at Wellspring starting as a Milieu Counselor in our adolescent girl’s residential program. He was also a therapist in our Children’s Residential Program and is certified as a low ropes trainer. In 2010 he developed and facilitated a Summer Adventure Program.
He obtained his BS in Psychology from Western CT State University, and his MFT from Southern CT State University. Joe is affiliated with the Knights of Columbus and participates in youth sports development programs. It is safe to say that Joe is a huge sports enthusiast!
